“I have recently finished my NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site management. I found this very engaging and supplementary to my BSc in construction management and surveying. The course ran very smoothly and had a good mix of evidence based and observational assessment. The modules cover a wide range of topics and have helped me improve in my day to day activities. I recommend Cano Training to anyone".

"I am pleased that I undertook my NVQ Level 2 - Dryliner Finishing Course. The course was well explained/delivered and good feedback from the Assessor. I have now gained my NVQ Level 2 Certificate/Trade Card, which will help me maintain employment with present Company and for future employment applications. I would recommend this type of course to my work colleagues and thank the Training Company for my opportunity to progress."

“I have recently completed my NVQ Level 3 Construction Site Supervision course. I found the course interesting and informative. I also learnt new aspects of the construction industry that I would not have known had I not done the course. I would recommend Cano Training Services Ltd to anyone wishing to further their qualifications in the construction industry. ”

“I have recently completed the occupational site supervision NVQ. The benefits of a friendly knowledgeable tutor was invaluable. Taking points I have learnt from Paul and the course, I have implemented them immediately in the sites day to day running, creating a positive effect on my work.”

"For the last decade I have been responsible for looking after my four children on my own. Now that my children are growing up I felt the need to return to the work place to set an example to my children and encourage them to do the same.

I made the effort to join the local work programme  and with the help and support found a programme that interested me with the  Pre  Employment training at Merton.

The programme really suited my needs regarding childcare and workload. I really enjoyed learning new skills and meeting people. I never once expected that it would lead to becoming a teaching assistant and assessor with the people that were training me.

It was recognised that I had a good understanding of the students learning needs and the empathy to ensure equal opportunities and diversity needs of the students.  These were skills required for assessing and training in the Pre Employment courses and with the advice and guidance of Cano Training was offered  a part time job as classroom technician.

After gaining confidence and the continuing support from Cano training I am now being trained as a tutor and assessor and have been employed full time. I have the responsibility of organising and running the workshop. Assisting the tutors with their delivery of Health and Safety level 1 & 2 and mentoring the students.

Without the unwavering support from Cano training I would have never had the confidence and gained so much from this course".
